…actually, 6…

There are plenty of really great reasons to work from home. What’s on the top of your list?

Here’s my reasons to work from home…not only did I ski more, (66 days in 2009/2010) or get on my mountain bike more, (every third day), I’m now able to control the amount, time, and quality of what I eat and when I eat. That’s reason enough to work from home.

Diane Augustine came up with a nice list in an article she wrote called “5 Of The Best Reasons Why You Should Work From Home!”

Here’s her list;

  1. You Will Save A Lot Of Money.
  2. You Will Save Time.
  3. You Will Be Doing It For Yourself, For Reasons That Are Important to YOU.
  4. A Work At Home Job Can Often Be Worked Anywhere That Has An Internet Connection.
  5. Your Income Doesn’t Have A Ceiling Created By Someone Else.

It shouldn’t be hard to agree with all of those and add several more, in the “Google Age” we know no bounds – we work from home or from where ever!

I’d like to add one more, the one that has had a significant effect on the overall quality of my life. Here’s how I say it; “stay home, stay healthy”.

Do You Drive for Your Job?

I used to…add one more to the “why I work from home” list.

After a lengthy sales career driving 40,000 miles + per year, sleeping in hotels 2 or 3 nights per week, eating almost every meal at a restaurant, a completely erratic feeding schedule, and wining and dining clients way too much…it’s no wonder my gout was getting worse – working from home has turned out to be the best gout treatment!

Staying home most of the time, walking the dog every afternoon, making my own breakfasts and lunches from good, clean food, eating my wife’s incredible cooking every evening, and getting a good solid 8+hours of sleep every night…it’s no wonder my gout is gone!

Bert,

Just wanted to let you know I appreciate your newsletters (email). Also, I have remained free from gout by focusing on two main principles, which I know you already are familiar with: alkalizing the body and maintaining a strict diet. I am now in the process of reducing the Allopurinol (slowly!) because my blood tests continue to show what my doctor said: “You don’t have gout anymore.”

The one thing that I find confusing is why people think there is no answer to gout. Not necessarily a “cure” in terms of the physiology but a “cure” in terms of the zero-pain factor.

A sidenote. I visited a specialist a month or so after contracting gout for a followup visit. A day before I had purposefully overdone the sodium bicarbonate to achieve a mild alkalosis. When the doctor investigated my feet, he could find absolutely no signs of gout. None. I remember the look on his face to this day.

XAIPE,

Mac

Doing My Work From Home Has Made for a
Dramatic Increase in My Quality of Life

Sleeping in my own bed every night, cooking my own food, not having to get all stressed out driving…there are so many advantages.

“Kill

Food, stress, environment…there’s more to think about when it comes to getting rid of the pain of gout than you might think.

Remember!  One of the best ways to kill gout is to shift to a work from home situation.

Bert Middleton

“I know your pain. Let me help you kill your gout for good!  And teach you to advocate for yourself and take ownership of your gout recovery, by showing you how to live the gout-free lifestyle.” Two decades ago, Bert Middleton found himself diagnosed with gout. Like 8.3 million other people in the United States (approximately 4% of the population), he struggled helplessly with the physical, emotional, social, and financial impact that gout left unchecked can have on your life. Prescription drugs were of limited help… And the terrible pain of regular gout attacks left him unable to enjoy even the simplest daily pleasures. His marriage was suffering. His finances were spiraling due to the impact gout had on his ability to work. And maintaining a social life was often nearly impossible. Tophi surgeries left him in terrible pain.  And he found himself depressed … and angry … that gout was stealing years of his life.

Until one day, after hundreds of hours of research and self-experimentation, Bert finally had a breakthrough and created a blueprint for a way of living that would prove to be “the answer” to living gout-free for nearly a decade now. Today, Bert and his “Gout Wife” Sharon devote their evenings and weekends to educating other gout sufferers on how to live the gout-free lifestyle. Showing others his 911 Emergency Response Gout Recovery Plan for getting PAINFUL gout attacks under control in as little as 4 hours. And then, how to make daily choices that keep gout under control for GOOD! So you can finally start LIVING again!
