…the 3 best words to describe gout…

I “dread” the “pain” of a gout attack and I “fear” the next time it returns.

When it comes to pain, that’s what comes to my mind, what about you?

As I thought about this post, I knew that a lot of people need more information about “what is gout” and I knew where I wanted to go with it, but decided to do a bit of research to see what people feared or dreaded the most. Here’s what I found:

  • Public Speaking
  • Snakes
  • Failure
  • Something happening to my kids
  • (gout!) Pain
  • Spiders
  • Commitment

These were just a few – it was all over the board. The one I was thinking about was “pain”. But then, you know, public speaking can be pretty darn painful in and of itself…until you get good at it anyway.

Pain is a very interesting phenomenon; it can be physical or imagined, mental or emotional, perceived or actual. The really fascinating thing about it is that it is a very powerful motivator. The things we all do to avoid pain.

What Kind of Pain Do You Work the Hardest to Avoid?

Personally, I’ve had some serious pain; I’ve taken some nasty crashes, lost some big deals, lost loved ones, had my heart broken. Those are all for real and not to be taken lightly, but when it comes to, what is gout? …a gout attack is some serious pain and the one thing that really pumps up the anxiety!

I’ve Had Gout Attacks Where the Pain Was SO Bad
I Didn’t Even Want to Breathe!

The first couple dozen gout attacks I had, I thought it was just a passing thing. Then I finally wised up, got on it and got past it. If you’ve had gout you know what I mean…if you haven’t, don’t get it. It is the most excruciating pain you could “never” imagine.

Remember!  Gout pain is very REAL and it’s OK to fear and dread – now get busy and kill that gout!

Bert Middleton

“I know your pain. Let me help you kill your gout for good!  And teach you to advocate for yourself and take ownership of your gout recovery, by showing you how to live the gout-free lifestyle.” Two decades ago, Bert Middleton found himself diagnosed with gout. Like 8.3 million other people in the United States (approximately 4% of the population), he struggled helplessly with the physical, emotional, social, and financial impact that gout left unchecked can have on your life. Prescription drugs were of limited help… And the terrible pain of regular gout attacks left him unable to enjoy even the simplest daily pleasures. His marriage was suffering. His finances were spiraling due to the impact gout had on his ability to work. And maintaining a social life was often nearly impossible. Tophi surgeries left him in terrible pain.  And he found himself depressed … and angry … that gout was stealing years of his life.

Until one day, after hundreds of hours of research and self-experimentation, Bert finally had a breakthrough and created a blueprint for a way of living that would prove to be “the answer” to living gout-free for nearly a decade now. Today, Bert and his “Gout Wife” Sharon devote their evenings and weekends to educating other gout sufferers on how to live the gout-free lifestyle. Showing others his 911 Emergency Response Gout Recovery Plan for getting PAINFUL gout attacks under control in as little as 4 hours. And then, how to make daily choices that keep gout under control for GOOD! So you can finally start LIVING again!
